Advisor/Curator Policy

Advisory Role

Advisors provide guidance and support to the gallery management and owners in the development and implementation of strategic plans, exhibitions and programs.  Advisors offer their expertise in the art industry, market trends and best practices.

Advisors are expected to attend monthly virtual meetings with the gallery management and owners.  Advisors are expected to provide constructive feedback and recommendations for the gallery's exhibitions and programs.
Advisors are expected to maintain confidentiality about all matters related to the gallery.

Advisors are selected based on their professional qualifications, expertise, and experience in the art industry. The gallery management and owners have the final say in the selection of advisors.

Curatorial Role

Curators are responsible for creating and organizing exhibitions and programs for the gallery.  Curators work closely with the gallery management and owners to ensure that exhibitions and programs are of high quality and relevant to the gallery's mission.

Curators are selected based on their professional qualifications, expertise, and experience in the curation of exhibitions and programs. The gallery management and owners have the final say in the selection of curators.

Curators are expected to attend regular meetings with the gallery management and owners to discuss exhibitions and programs.  Curators are expected to conduct research, solicit and select artists and artworks for exhibitions and programs.  Curators are expected to maintain confidentiality about all matters related to the gallery.
